Raaiter Wellness offers Individual Counselling, Trauma-Informed Counselling, and Family Violence Counselling.
We primarily work with Adults aged 18-85 years for Counselling.
Walking into the unknown can be daunting! In the first session, you and your Counsellor will spend time getting to know each other; your goals, your expectations, what you are looking to achieve, outlining how often you’ll meet and for how many weeks. You’ll also discuss your Counsellor’s counselling approach, and any other questions or reservations you may have about counselling. This session may also include an initial assessment.
There is no pressure to share any more than you are ready to.
There is no fixed number of sessions. Each person’s journey is unique, and the pace of counselling is guided collaboratively.
Some clients attend for a brief period to work through a specific challenge, while others engage in ongoing sessions to explore deeper patterns and personal growth. Your Counsellor will check in regularly to ensure the work feels meaningful and supportive.

Mental health professionals may hold different titles depending on their training and the country in which they practise. These titles may include:
Psychiatrists are medical doctors who can prescribe medication. Clinical Psychologists are trained in psychological assessment and diagnosis. Counsellors and Psychotherapists focus on therapeutic support, coping strategies, and emotional processing.
The scope of practice, training requirements, and regulatory frameworks vary across countries.
At Raaiter Wellness, services focus on counselling, trauma-informed support, and wellbeing. We do not provide psychiatric assessment, prescribe medication, or offer clinical diagnosis.
If specialised psychological assessment or psychiatric care is required, referrals can be discussed.
