1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Raaiter Wellness website, booking a counselling session, or engaging with any services offered by Raaiter Wellness (operated by Preethi Sridhar, M.Coun., hereinafter referred to as “Raaiter Wellness”, “the Practice”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. About the Counsellor & Professional Membership

2.1 Qualifications
Preethi Sridhar holds a Master of Counselling (M.Coun.) from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Stella Maris College, Chennai, India. She is the Founder and Head Counsellor of Raaiter Wellness, based in Tamil Nadu, India.

2.2 Professional Membership — ACA International Member Status
IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING ACA MEMBERSHIP – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Preethi Sridhar previously held ACA Level 2 membership status and currently holds International Member status with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). Based on publicly available information, ACA International Membership is classified as a NON-PRACTISING category available to counsellors residing outside Australia.

This means that while Preethi Sridhar is committed to the values, ethical standards, and professional development principles promoted by the ACA, the ACA’s formal Code of Ethics and Practice and Scope of Practice are designed primarily for counsellors practising within Australia.

Raaiter Wellness is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical practice, consistent with internationally recognised counselling ethics frameworks, including beneficence, non-maleficence, autonomy, justice, and fidelity.

The Practice operates in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in Tamil Nadu, India, and endeavours to comply with relevant professional standards in each jurisdiction served.

3. Nature of Services

3.1 Services Offered
Raaiter Wellness provides the following online counselling and psychoeducation services to adults (18 years and over) via Google Meet:

  • Individual Counselling — one-to-one sessions addressing stress, anxiety, burnout, identity, life transitions, relational distress, grief, and related concerns
  • Trauma-Informed Counselling — integrative support using approaches including CBT, ACT, IFS, EFT, Mindfulness, and Somatic Awareness
  • Family Violence Counselling — confidential support for survivors and individuals addressing use of violence
  • Psychoeducation Resources — written, digital, and session-based mental health materials

3.2 What We Do Not Provide
Raaiter Wellness does not provide:

  • Psychiatric services or medication prescription/advice
  • Psychological assessments, testing, or formal diagnosis
  • Crisis intervention or emergency mental health services
  • Legal, medical, or financial advice
  • Services to individuals under 18 years

Raaiter Wellness reserves the right to update or discontinue services at any time.

4. Geographic Availability & Jurisdiction
Raaiter Wellness provides online counselling via Google Meet to clients in:

India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan

By engaging services, you confirm:

  • You are located in one of these regions
  • You speak and understand English
  • Accessing counselling is legally permitted in your jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Tamil Nadu, India and applicable Indian law unless otherwise required by consumer protection laws in your country.

5. Eligibility & Suitability
By booking a session, you confirm:

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have legal capacity to enter this agreement
  • You are seeking support for mild to moderate concerns
  • You understand counselling is not emergency care
  • You have access to local emergency services
  • You provide an emergency contact
  • You have a stable internet connection and private space
  • You provide accurate information

Raaiter Wellness may decline or discontinue services if not clinically appropriate.

6. Fees, Payment & Cancellation Policy

6.1 Fees

For India:

  • 50-minute session: INR 2,500
  • 90-minute session: INR 3,000

For international clients:

  • 50-minute session: USD 75
  • 90-minute session: USD 100

Sliding scale may be available at discretion.

6.2 Payment Terms

  • Full payment required before session (minimum 3 hours prior)
  • Payment via Razorpay, bank transfer, UPI
  • Client bears transaction and currency conversion fees
  • No storage of payment details by Raaiter Wellness

6.3 Cancellation Policy

  • 48+ hours: Full refund
  • 24–48 hours: 50% refund
  • <24 hours: Full charge
  • No-show: No refund

Late arrivals end at scheduled time.
If counsellor cancels, session will be rescheduled.

7. Confidentiality & Its Limits

7.1 Confidentiality Commitment
All sessions are confidential.

7.2 Limits of Confidentiality

Confidentiality may be broken if:

  • Risk of harm to self or others
  • Risk to a child or vulnerable person
  • Legal or court requirement
  • Mandatory reporting obligations
  • Public safety risk

Where possible, disclosures will be discussed beforehand.

7.3 Supervision
Sessions may be discussed in supervision in anonymised form.

Raaiter Wellness is not a crisis service.

9. Telehealth & Technology

  • Sessions via Google Meet
  • Client must ensure privacy, device readiness, and internet stability
  • No recording without written consent
  • Technical issues → reconnection attempt within 10 minutes or reschedule

10. Professional Boundaries

  • No counselling outside sessions
  • No social media connections
  • No dual relationships
  • Communication limited to administrative email

11. Intellectual Property
All website and resource content belongs to Raaiter Wellness and cannot be reused without permission.

12. Services Disclaimer
No guarantee of outcomes; results vary by individual.

13. User Conduct

Users agree to:

  • Follow laws
  • Communicate respectfully
  • Avoid harassment or misinformation

14. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Copy content
  • Hack or disrupt services
  • Upload malicious content
  • Use services illegally

15. Limitation of Liability

Raaiter Wellness is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

16. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify Raaiter Wellness from claims due to misuse or breach.

17. Conduct Policy

17.1 Prohibited Conduct

  • Sexual or inappropriate communication
  • Abuse or threats
  • Unauthorized contact
  • False identity

Violations → immediate termination, no refund.

17.2 Payment Fraud

  • Chargeback fraud
  • Unauthorized payments
  • Misuse of bookings

Legal action may be taken.

17.3 Refunds

No refunds for misconduct-related termination.

17.4 Reporting

Review within 3–5 business days.

17.5 Legal Enforcement

Governed by Indian IT laws.

18. Termination of Services

Services may be terminated if:

  • Not clinically appropriate
  • Client is abusive
  • Payment issues
  • Referral needed

19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • Governed by Tamil Nadu and Indian law
  • Disputes → negotiation → mediation → legal action

20. Amendments

Terms may be updated anytime. Continued use = acceptance.
